Marriege : Are you ready to make commitment ??

Cun tak pelamin nie...?
Hopefully Pak Long happy with his wife......

I was attending my uncle wedding in Kedah last weekend. Thats why i'm stop blogging for 2,3 days. The most frequent question to me was when it is my turn to marry. I just smile and ignore all those questions. Who doesn't want to live happily with wife and kids. But, i know, since my last broke up with my girlfriend last three years, i didn't find any suitable girl to win my heart. Yes, i agree i a bit choosy and keep comparing with my ex.

No one in this world perfect, but when you want to live with someone for the whole life, you need to have someone that can cheer you up, support you and give motivation to you. Now, my focus are finishing my MBA and winning NST Body Make Over Challange.

Frankly speaking, i'm not ready yet to marry someone. I'm not ready to make commitment. Now, i'm 26 years old. But who cares, even my uncle also find his wife when he was 30 years old. He told me that he also choosy, and the most interesting part was our ex-gf having a same name. He took about 5 years to find new gf and marry the girl. hehe.......

It is so hard to find the right person in life.  Some may take years to find their loves ones while others may not have the luck to find the right person in their lifetime. So, can we belive on online to find our right person??? Belows some of the portal for matchmaker in Malaysia.
Should I try??? Do i need to wait until my wife come to find me??? hehe.....

10 Things You Must Know About Credit

It seem a long time i'm not using credit card since what happen to my close relative. He has been declare bankrupt because using more than 10 credit card. Yesterday, he call me for chit chat. and i did ask about his debt management and today i'm, thinking to post about credit card.
Credit card very useful when you are short of money. But, the bottom line is, you need to take care your debt management by paying the bill on time.
To use a credit correctly, it's important to know as much as you can about it. Here are 10 things you must know about credit if you want to use it the right way.

1. Credit isn't cash or a cash substitute

Credit's so easy to use, it's hard not to think of it as an extension of your wallet. That's the exact kind of thinking that can get you into credit trouble. Even if you've been using credit for years, it never hurts to re-familiarize yourself with the very basics of what credit is and how it works.

2. Having good credit is important

Many people don't realize the value of good credit until they need it and don't have it. Credit is used for more than just credit cards. You need credit for buying or renting a home, getting a new job, and even for getting cell phone or other utility services.

3. Good credit doesn't happen overnight

You already know that good credit goes a long way in today's society. Learn what it takes to build the kind of credit history that always gets your applications approved with low interest rates and no security deposit.

4. There's no one-size-fits-all credit card

And if there were such a card, it'd fit like one-size-fits-all clothing. Since there are so many different types of credit cards, it's just as easy to get one that doesn't fit you as it is to get one that does fit you. Learn about the many kinds of credit cards that are out there before applying for one.

5. Debt can happen to anyone, even you

Too much debt can have a negative influence on your credit, making you look riskier to future lenders. Making sound financial decisions and using credit sparingly will keep you from being bound by debt.

6. Creditors talk about you behind your back

Creditors and lenders report your every move to credit bureaus. They share this information with other businesses whenever you make a new application for credit. Your credit information is compiled in a credit report and scored using a credit score.

7. You can find out what they're saying for free

Federal law entitles you a free copy of your credit report from each of the three credit bureaus each year. This free credit report doesn't require you to signup for any other products or services, so you have absolutely no obligation.

8. You can ask for a lower interest rate

High interest rates make credit expensive. With a good credit score (700's or better) and a good payment history, you're in a good position to negotiate a lower interest rate.

9. It's possible to have too many credit cards

It doesn't take long to build a collection of credit cards. As soon as you get one credit card, it seems every other creditor wants to offer theirs too. Having too many credit cards can affect your credit score and make it hard to keep up with your credit card payments.

10. Closing credit cards can hurt your credit

When your creditor makes you angry, the first thing you want to do is close your credit card. Before you utter those words ("I want to close my account") know that closing your credit card might hurt you a lot more than it will hurt your creditor.

Why Did Steve Jobs Hate Google?

Thanks to my friends, Osman in borrowing the new biography book Steve Jobs.

In the new book about Steve Jobs, we get some insight on why Steve Jobs hated Google. There’s a quote in the book that tells us all we need to know to answer that question. And here it is: Said Steve Jobs: “Google, you f—ing ripped off the iPhone. Wholesale ripped us off. Grand theft. I will spend my last dying breath if I need to and I will spend every penny of Apple’s $40 billion in the bank to right this wrong.”

Wow. It’s safe to say that Steve Jobs wasn’t the world’s biggest Android fan. And honestly, I don’t think even Google can disagree with the take that they stole the concept of the Android from the iPhone. Steve Jobs continued: “I’m willing to go thermonuclear war on this. They are scared to death because they know they are guilty. Outside of Search, Google’s products — Android, Google Docs — are sh-t.”

Again, there’s a lot of truth to that. Google Search is by far the best search on the planet. But, really, what other Google product would succeed on its own two feet? I can’t think of one.
Why did Steve Jobs hate Google? It sounds like he had good reasons.

New 7 Wonders in The World.

When I woke up two hours ago and was scouting the web for interesting read, I stumbled upon this wonderful news and just thought that I'd like to share it with you guys.  Yep, a little out of line from my blog's theme. On November 11, 2011 GMT, Bernard Weber, founder and president of the New7Wonders announced the Provisional New 7 Wonders of Nature.

Here's Mr. Weber's full speech which I transcribed from YouTube:

"Ladies and gentlemen, adults and children, citizens of the world, welcome to the announcement of the first count and provisional results of the global vote to elect the New 7 Wonders of Nature.

Firstly, I would like to thank the many champions, citizens, voluntary organizations, public bodies, and governments that have rallied and promoted the participants in this New 7 Wonders of Nature campaign over the past four years starting with over 440 locations from over 220 countries all the way into the 28 finalist candidates from whom the New 7 Wonders are chosen.

We have seen huge interaction and participation on every continent of our globe with different levels of motivation and styles of campaigning across countries and supporters.  Like in any other voting campaign, the winning candidates reflect the ones that knew best how to stimulate the most votes.  And in terms of votes, we have significantly beaten the record set by our first campaign to elect the manmade new 7 wonders of the world that were declared in 2007 by a big multiple and many hundreds of millions of votes.

The results that I’m about to announce are provisional and based on the first count of votes completed today since voting closed at 11:11 GMT.  Starting from today this voting calculation will be checked, validated, and independently verified over the coming weeks.  It may be the case that one or more of the provisional winners announced today is not confirmed during this process and we will issue an update should this happen.  Once the voting validation process is completed, in early 2012 we will then work with the confirmed winners to organize the official inauguration events during which each winner will receive the official plaque and become officially confirmed as one of the new 7 wonders of nature.

The moment has come, and I now proceed to announce the Provisional New 7 Wonders of Nature in alphabetic order:
  1. Amazon, South America
  2. Halong Bay in Vietnam
  3. Iguazo Falls in Argentina, Brazil
  4. Jeju Island in South Korea
  5. Komodo in Indonesia
  6. Puerto Princesa Underground River in the Philippines
  7. Table Mountain in South Africa
Picture taken from New7Wonders of Nature Facebook page.
We congratulate each of these participants on achieving their provisional new 7 wonders of nature status and look forward to completing the confirmation process to celebrate each one in their own official inauguration ceremonies early in 2012.
When the new seven wonders of nature are confirmed, they will join the manmade new 7 wonders of the world in becoming part of global memory for humankind forever.  Finally I invite you all to join us in our third campaign, the global election of the new 7 wonder cities.  Nominations are now open and we invite both the supporters and the world's most interesting and exciting cities as well as the official authorities and organizations to cast your nominations to choose the seven cities that will become part of history forever.

I thank you all again for having been great champions and active voters.  It is thanks to you and to your participation that all of this is possible.  Good evening or good morning from wherever you’re watching.  All my best wishes."

Congratulations to all the Provisional New 7 Wonders of Nature and the countries where they're from.  But, where is Malaysia????
Thanks for reading and see you on my next post.

My new Iphone 4S......!!!!!!!

Okay, the following will sound quite contraversial because of what i said about apple products in the past. However, my stand still stays and i still feel that their products are pretty overhyped but the undeniable fact is they are good. Therefore, i decided to take a day off on friday to buy for the iPhone 4. I'm not one of the crazy must get first maniac.

My reason for queuing on a friday morning is due to a simple rational that i believe that is the best time to get the phone. The weekends is a definite no because of the crowd from the working adult. To get it over the next few weeks, you may risk having to wait for the subsequent batches. Since i have been waiting long enough for this, and we are already behind the US by about several month, i saw last Friday as the best time.

After having the iPhone 4 for a day, disappointment starts to set in and i go back to agreeing it was overhyped. I will break down the good and bad of this phone.

The Good: The screen is awesome, even better than the Iphone 3GS. Fuctionality is good, there is so much you can do with it provided you can find the right Apps to go with it. It has endless possiblities and that is what i liked about it. Currently, i am able to surf the net, read my PDF and listen to some good music at the same time all on the small iPhone. Lastly, it has a good design and i like it more than the 3GS.

The Bad: One has to be prepared to pay to get those good Apps. On top of that, iTunes is the central portal for every data that goes into the Iphone and i hate this inflexibility. iTunes isn't easy to use and it does such a bad job in organising all my songs and i kinda gave up trying to arrange them nice i think sooner or later i will just dump the entire list i have into the iPhone regardless of the arrangement.

At the end of 2 days, that will be how i summarise this new gadget, hopefully i discover new capabilities of this phone soon so that may change my view of this phone for the better. These are the photos, till then.

Why Iphone May Disappoint You In Future?

Still remember last Friday, wanted to promote my Samsung G810 for sale to my officemate. I heard them all said, they all wanted to wait for Iphone 5 release in Malaysia. Also, one of Iphone Maniac, Weizzz, also my friends, he wanted an Iphone so far..

I questioned myself, why so many people choose Iphone? Honestly, I don't really like the Iphone (Sorry weizzz).

Okay.. I believe (especially girls) judge a product by its' look, I admit iphone is a really nice phone, intuitive design. But did you really know what it contain inside? How long will you carry your Iphone with you? with above RM2k for how many years?

Did you know about Smelly Toufu? It doesn't look so nice and it smell totally disgusting, but it taste REALLY good.. I'm NOT kidding, it do really taste good. But for Iphone, even it really nice look, but I bet it will disappoint you in future.

Why?
1. If so many people wanted to buy an Iphone, that make this Apple product no longer special. It true, so far, all the Malaysian think Iphone special because of it expensive price and it very rare with it special designing and looking.

2. Unable to update (or costly to update). Iphone is a intuitive device that enable users to stay up-to-date to their Apple product to fix bugs, more application and etc.. UNLESS APPLE IPHONE RELEASE IPHONE MALAYSIA EDITION, else users hard to get latest update as all the Malaysia Iphone has to be unlocked first so that it useable on all Malaysia Operator. Why update so important? Because NO UPDATE, how to guarantee your Iphone BETTER?

3. integral / non-removable battery. Man.. this is the most disappointing point in all Iphone. With integral battery, how you gonna change your battery? bring to shop? that sure COST much.. and think about it.. with integral battery, how long you can ensure your battery still in good condition? I think a normal phone battery can last about 3-4 Years long..

4. No Java/application to be installed. Iphone doesn't have Java, or allow user to install application like s60 platform do, Iphone soon will be release some games to be purchase, if no crack available, users have to purchase those games, just having your iphone to listen music, web experience? Soon you will get boring to your iphone.

5. Non Flash Support Web Browsing. Users unable to have full web experience like those s60 Flash Lite 3.0 device do.

6. Wimpy 2 Megapixel Camera. I guarantee you sure get boring to this feature soon, 2mp camera.. take wat? no zoom, no flash.. Even worst than my Nokia n81. Trust me, when I purchase my n81, I tell myself 2mp camera already good and acceptable.. soon, I regret with this 2mp camera.. For now.. at least 3.2mp camera needed.. 5mp camera best like those n95 did. Digital Camera? this just an excuse for yourself, did you bring your Digital cam all the time? Mobile phone camera is more convenient and needed so you alway able to "camera on the go".

7. No Video recording. Like those 6AS2 did, Video recording is a main feature for them as they alway "sex abuse" their friends when someone entered their "lair". They will record video using their mobile phones. In Summary, no Video recording, what for your mobile phone use?

8. NO Steoreo Bluetooth, I thought the iPhone was supposed to be part iPod. At least they fixed the recessed headphone jack flaw (and called it a new feature) but the A2DP stereo Bluetooth standard has been around for a while and is missing from the iPhone.

9. No Picture in MMS. Then what MMS for? Even we still use SMS daily, but MMS is a feature that every phone should have, to exchange pictures or anything whenever we need.

10. GPS and Google Earth. In Malaysia, I have tested Google Earth with my Samsung G810, still no routing for this country, just the map, to find your location.. and search for hotspot, still.. Iphone not allow any 3rd party application.. so.. no routing in iphone 3G for Malaysia users.

11. Cracked Touch Screen. There are many cases reported that Iphone 3G touch screen cracked in just 1 light dropped. So.. If you plan to use iphone for many years, can you guarantee that your phone never drop?

12. Annoying User Interface. Iphone famous with unable to copy and edit text, unable to copy or send tel. no (have to memorize). How long can you take this annoying user interface, because it doesn't user friendly at all.. Once you accidentally deleted your whole paragraph of text, or want to transfer a lot of text, you will find your iphone suck, you might just thrown out your iphone.

13. NOT SUPPORT BLUETOOTH FILE TRANSFER. This is the most trendy part among us... plus.. Iphone is part of ipod, with no bluetooth files transfer support, how we gonna share new music? also.. no files transfer.. really useless la.. even my old Motorola e398 also can do this...

Think well, will your money worth for buying this Apple Iphone. However.. If you really can ignore all these 13 (Edited) reasons, Iphone could be suit for you.. Remember, even Apple promised cheaper and faster iphone 5, but in Malaysia, Iphone NOT CHEAP AT ALL! In addition, expensive than before!!
