Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Release in Malaysia 19 October 2012

Samsung Note 2 worth rm2299 in Malaysia.
Want to buy or not???
Since my Iphone 3gs having speaker problems, i am searching for new smartphone that really affordable to my budget.

What is the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (II)?

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is the latest smartphone (smartphablet?) released by Samsung as a successor to the very successful Samsung Galaxy Note. It is available in Malaysia from 19th October 2012.

Key features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2:
·         Android (the 4.1.1 or Jelly Bean)
·         5.5 inch Super AMOLED screen (a very big clear HD screen)
·         HD video recording and playback
·         8MP rear camera / 1.9MP front facing camera
·         Comes with 50GB of free online cloud storage from Dropbox for 2 years

For the full technical specs and some more nice photos of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, you can go ahead to the Samsung website here. If you actually wanted to see the best plans for the Apple iPhone (5, 4S, 4 etc.) (one of Samsung’s competitors in the smartphone market), see  Cheapest Apple iPhone Plans or Best Apple iPhone 5 Plans in Malaysia articles.

Buy the Note 2 outright or with a Postpaid Plan?

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be initially sold outright for an RRP of RM2,299, which is at the top end of the smartphone market in Malaysia.

You might struggle to pick up the Note 2 with the full Samsung warranty from resellers for the first couple of weeks or so from launch, so if you’re not the type to wait those extra weeks then you may have no choice but to pick up a phone with a long term contract from either DiGi, Maxis, Celcom or U Mobile.

DiGi are the only ones who have come out with their prices for the Note 2 with their Postpaid
Plans, we expect the other major networks to follow suit before the launch date on 19th October 2012.

They’re even allowing you to pre-order online to make sure that you get your device on the launch day without having to queue up at stores. We’ll hold back on reviewing their plans till at least one other network comes on board, so we can provide some nice comparisons!
If you’re not fussed about the network, or want to see if your network will be offering the Note 2 at a cheaper price than DiGi before switching over, stay tuned and we will update you when the other networks release their prices!
